Upcoming District Conferences – Get These on Your Calendars!             

 

Planning is underway for the next two District conferences. Below is some initial information about these events. More information will be sent out as we get closer to each event.

• 2024 Fall Conference – This will be a virtual conference held the morning of October 26. The items to be covered at this event include updates by each District department and the District Commander and special topics that will be identified prior to the Conference.

• 2025 Spring Conference and Change of Watch – This event will be hosted by the Hilton Head Squadron on February 28 – March 2 at the oceanfront Sonesta Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC (more information on the resort is available on their website: Sonesta Hilton Head Island Oceanfront Resort | Sonesta). The Hilton Head Squadron is planning to have on-the-water activities for Saturday morning and afternoon, instead of just having workshops. An abbreviated Business meeting will be held first thing in the morning to not interfere with those plans. The Change of Watch banquet will be held in the evening as usual. The Hilton Head Squadron has negotiated an attractive room rate of $199 per night (the rack rate is $304), with a total of $238 including taxes and fees! This room rate is available three (3) nights before and after the event. So, you can make this into a mini-vacation. We hope you will plan to attend this event with your fellow District members!​

• 2024 Governing Board Meeting – Sept. 22–30, 2024 in Pittsburgh, PA

• 2025 Annual Meeting – February 1–10, 2025 in Orlando, FL
