To become a Vessel Safety Examiner, contact your local club or the D26 Vessel Safety Check committee chairman.
Vessel Safety Checks
Having a reliable boat helps assure you'll have a safe, fun-filled day on the water.

The Vessel Safety Check (VSC) Program is:
-
A free and voluntary annual inspection service
-
Offered by America's Boating Club in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary

Our certified examiners check to see if your vessel meets all federal and state regulations that apply to your boat.
-
If it does, you'll receive a decal to display on your vessel, showing that you achieved a satisfactory inspection.
-
If it does not, you'll be advised of what needs to be done to meet all requirements.
